Lovely, well-composed footage of the natural beauty of the Rockies is the highlight of this travelogue. Colour would be nice, but a black-and-white version
...
is more than acceptable (though narration about the bluest skies isn't quite as effective in b&w).
The audience is reminded the Blackfoot have lived in the area for untold generations, and there's a scene featuring traditional native dancing.
There's also a reminder that "the modern automobile" can take you there over 900 miles of good road. The word "Ford" isn't mentioned by the narrator, but the credits reveal that's who sponsored this film, and there are shots of a shiny new model.
Oh, the "smell" line refers to forests.

The Ford sedan is a 1937 model, dating the film 1937 or later. The shots of the Going to the Sun Chalet from St.Mary Lake is really nice. The only error
...
I heard was the commentator saying there was 900 miles of road in the Park when there is about 90. The horse riders through Ptarmigan Tunnel was the first moving picture of riding in the tunnel and out of the north portal on the Ptarmigan Wall I've seen. (I am a former Museum Tech for GNP Archives)

Lovely and simple film telling us about all the wonders that can be had at Glacier National Park in Montana. There are films on here that spend 30 minutes
...
or more on park tourism, but this compact film does it all in 8 minutes and is perfectly fine. Very nice cinematography here.
